In May of 1999 Pat Fitzsimmons and Carlo Messa began working together at their first logistics company. Here they began to forge a friendship that would last decades. Pat and Carlo weathered the effects of the terrible 9/11 attacks and learned how to fight through adversity. It was also at this time that Pat fell in love with his dear wife Sarah, in a beautiful romantic story that spanned continents, and an ocean.
Then in 2007 Pat and Carlo reunited at a second company and built a strong logistics office in Chicago from the ground up. the Service and Price was the best in Chicago at the time, and lucky customers enjoyed the best logistics service for about 12 years. Eventually politics from inside the company began to negatively affect the working environment, and Carlo and Pat decided it was time for a change.
Burned out on the office politics of the previous company, Pat and Carlo both decided to take on lesser rolls and settle down and worked together at a third company. Carlo served as the Export Manager, and Pat served as a simple Air Import Operations clerk. Then the COVID-19 Pandemic hit. Pat and Carlo began to notice a shift in how things operated in the world, and how desperately passion, integrity, and commitment were needed in the logistics world, and we realized we could make a difference.
Pat was given an opportunity to make investment, and decided the timing was perfect to love people through his gift of logistics. Armed with faith, hope, and compassion Pat opened Sky Net Logistics USA LLC in April of 2021. The first shipment occurred in June of 2021. The business grew steadily with the excitement of the synergy and passion of Sky Net. In January 2022 Carlo re-joined his old friend Pat and now serves as Sky Net's Chief of Operations.
With Pat and Carlo's combined 58 years of experience in the industry Sky Net is set reach new heights and continue to grow steadily for the foreseeable future.
